Before we start exercising, let's focus on some fundamentals... that's going to be eating your five fruits and vegetables and drinking four glasses of water every day.
Only four glasses you ask? Here's my trick. Eight glasses just sounds huge, and unreachable even before you've tried. So, just change the size of your glass and go for four glasses a day. A typical tall kitchen glass holds almost 16 ounces, as does a sports water bottle. Four glasses should be a piece of cake! (That does not mean you get a piece of cake if you do this!) Drink one at every meal if that works for you and spread the rest throughout the day.
We all know fruits and veggies are good for us. It's easy to eat five or more daily. And, with some focus on this goal, you'll start replacing other snacks with a fruit or vegetable to make sure you reach your daily goal.
